Synopsis: Two-year-old girl wanders away from parents who are busy at their stall in a market place, and into a street. She gets hit by two vans and gets ignored by at least 18 passers-by, according to surveilance. She succumbed to systematic organ failure after being in a coma eight days after the incident.
Now who won’t be outraged after reading the article and watching the video from BBC? Someone without a heart of compassion.
Humans are gifted with intelligence, wisdom, freedom to choose and decide (unwittingly given to others to control), and the discernment between right and wrong. We’re not looking at humans here, folks. We’re seeing poor, mindless, heartless, cold, insensitive, unemphatic robots. Add more descriptives please.
Is this because of fear, culture, upbringing, education, level of civilization?
Little Wang Yue could have had better chances of surviving the incident if help was prompt.
Where are your hearts? Buried? Birned? Caged? Lost? Pulverized?
Robots. The thought keeps me sick.
